Boxing Day

Off to Gma's house for lunch - look who's still playing Pokemon on his new DS... maybe Uncle J would like a go?

Auntie, G and little JD came over - JD never stops moving - but was most impressed by his new garage and cars.

It was a lovely afternoon - we went for a walk up Pex Hill in the sunshine....

.... and had a great time exploring the quarry.

Christmas Day - Part 3

Tea time at Grandma's - and presents had to be opened quickly so we could be settled in the living room before 6 o'clock to watch Dr Who...

...M was deligted with her Sylvanian Family house...

....which has been played with pretty solidly ever since...

... meanwhile B had been playing on his new DS pretty much continually since 10 in the morning.

Christmas Day - Part 2

After Church, we went round to Nana's house for Christmas Dinner...

...and after dinner it was time for presents...

...the cool rucksack was from Auntie G...

... Nana got B his Powersaur....

...and M her Charlie Bear.

Christmas Day - Part 1

6.20 on Christmas Day - M and B bounce into our room, ready to open presents. Once downstairs they found a letter from Santa, and a large bite out of Rudolph's carrot!

Then it was onto the unwrapping ...

... B couldn't wait to look at his Power Rangers Jungle Fury book...

... and M just adored her new blue hat.

Party, party!

Auntie P's 70th birthday party!

Look at the fab smile from little JD - and he doesn't even know that there is cake on the way yet!

M managed to get lots of cuddles - here she's with my cousin L ...

...and then Daddy...

..and not forgetting Gpa...

JD was facinated by B's V-Smile games....

... but was probably even keener on the cake!

Result!

After a long fight, and more appointments, reports and observation than I care to remember, at last this little one has been granted 5 hours of enhanced provision money for Teaching Assistant support.

Mind you - I'm not about to give up fighting at 5 hours - onwards and upwards!

And as an extra bonus - yesterday he took possession of a Neo, a word processor that he can use at home and school :) It's on loan from the SENNAT team, who use ICT to support children with special needs. If it works out well he should get one to use through out his time at school.

Can you have too much tinsel?

Watching B in his nativity play for the second time - he was a bit wrigglier than the first time, but he still did a stellar job as a star dancer. And what I loved to hear was all the teachers and LSA's congratulating him as we left!

Joseph again

A came along to watch Joseph this evening - and agreed that M was fabulous...

... it was another great performance by all involved...

{A} Star of the Show

Benjamin was a very sparkly star in his Nativity Play - Christmas Stars.

He did the sparkly star dance....

... and got into the groove clapping along with the songs!
